Yes! The you doll comes with 3-LR44 batteries. We ship the dolls deactivated to preserve battery life during shipping - so to activate, access the voice box in the back of the doll and remove the white plastic tab. This will complete the circuit and your doll will talk when you push the button in his hand (Jesus) or squeeze their belly (BibleGirl and BibleBoy).
Our products are designed for your child's safety. Your dolls use LR44 button batteries. But, don't worry, they are enclosed in a compartment secured with a screw inside the voicebox. It requires a small screwdriver to access the compartment. To ensure the safety of our products, we have passed UL4200A - the premier certification for products incorporating button batteries or coin cell batteries as required by the US Consumer Product Safety Commission.
Yes! Our dolls are designed for safety. Their' facial features are embroidered for safety and durability. Its more expensive to do this but we never use plastic eyes that can pop off. And the doll is made from all new polyester.
And all of dolls are rigorously tested and passed with perfect scores all tests required by the US Consumer Product Safety Commission including ASTM-F963 1,2 & 3 which tests for flammability, toxicology, phthalates, small objects and more. We also passed the UL 4200A test that ensures the electrical and accessible safety of products with batteries. We have PA registration number PA-100518 (CN).

No. The Talking Jesus Doll does not say chapter/verse, just the scripture. Many research studies validate that this approach is better for young children to retain the scripture. BibleGirl and BibleBoy are designed for older children does include the chapter/vers notations.

Yes, the batteries are replaceable! To replace the batteries, access the voicebox by opening the velcro on the back of the doll. Remove the voicebox form the caviy. Use a small phillips head screwdriver to remove the safety screw and open the battery compartment on the back of the voicebox. Remove the battery cover. Note the orientation of the batteries before you remove them. Insert new LR44 batteries in the original orientation. Replace the battery cover and screw the screw back in place. Reinsert the voice box into the doll with the speaker side facing the dolls belly. Reattach the velcro.

If your package is marked as "delivered" by the carrier but you cannot locate it, please review the steps below to resolve the issue.
1. Check Delivery Location
Use the tracking number provided in your shipping confirmation email to check the delivery status and details. Review the delivery location specified (mailbox, porch, garage, etc) and look for it there. Packages may be delivered to a 'parcel locker', a service of your building or the local post office. Take your tracking # to the building or local post office to retrieve your package.
2. Look Around
Sounds obvious, but check everywhere a package could have been delivered - your mailbox, porch, garage, or with a neighbor. Ensure no one else in your household received the package. Check with neighbors or building management, as the package may have been delivered to them by mistake. Look around the yard. Our packages are light and sometimes wind can blow them around the yard. Finally, talk to your mail carrier and/or go to the local post office to see if they know where the package may be. Looking
3. Contact the Carrier
If you still cannot locate the package, file a missing package report. Contact the carrier (e.g., USPS, FedEx, UPS) to report the issue and request an investigation. Share your tracking number and any relevant information to help the carrier locate your package.
4. Contact Us
If the carrier confirms the package is lost or cannot be located, please contact our customer support team within 7 days of the marked delivery date. If you purchased loss insurance, we will promptly send a new package to you. Otherwise, email the details to hello@jesusdoll.com to see how we can assist.
While we cannot control issues that occur after a package is marked as delivered, we are committed to working with you and the carrier to resolve the issue as quickly and fairly as possible. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

Parcel Protection is basically shipping insurance. It is an extra layer of protection for package loss or theft. Once a package is marked as delivered by the carrier, the responsibility for the package’s location transfers to the recipient. We offer a low cost package protection at time of purchase just in case your package is lost or stolen. If your product was lost in the mail, it keeps you from having to go through the USPS insurance claim process. If it is lost, stolen or missing after it was marked delivered, we will replace your package. There is no recourse otherwise. Parcel Protection must be purchased at checkout to protect your purchase!
